Mystery Drain

We recently purchased a used 2005 Cardinal 33. Winterized her the other day, but had no luck finding a drain for the fresh water tank. Found this mystery tube at the left rear of the coach below the city water connection and the fresh water tank fill. I removed the cap and a little water came out.

Anyone know if this is the fresh water tank drain?

Thank you!

That is the location where the freshwater drain is/was on both my cardinals. Did you have a lot of water in the tank? On a Montana I owned I stuck a wire up the drain and pushed aside a blockage. I think it was probably the wasted from the newly cut drain hole.

I put no water in the tank and the previous owner winterized it before we bought it, so what you say makes perfect sense. We have warmer temps coming next week, so I will run a hose out to the fresh water fill and see if this is where is comes out.

Thank you!
