New Bidet Install

We have a 2017 Cardinal 3850. My bride recently decided she wanted a bidet in the bathroom, so she ordered a Zen warm water bidet (Z-500).

Other than the pain in the @$$ all RV’s are for not having shut off valves anywhere, the cold water source obviously will not be an issue since it’s already plumbed to the toilet.

My question is where to get the hot water. The most convenient place looks like the bathroom sink, but that means running a water line on the floor of the bathroom along the shower.

Does anyone have experience with this or know of a better way to get hot water to the toilet.

You'll probably need to open up the Coloplast and find a line to t into under the camper. Looks like the camper is already plumbed for a washer all the way in the back so maybe you'll have a hot water line even closer than the sink. Good luck.

And I thought I'd heard it all. You win the prize.

If you install a bidet is it still a camper/TT/5er/Class C/Class A/PUP?

Looks like you could pull the passthru back partition and access the plumbing under the bathroom. That should allow you to run hot water to the toilet.

Are you sure it needs hot water? A lot of bidets have on-demand water heaters.

With a hot water line, I’d be surprised if you have hot water to that by the time it’s done rinsing your bottom given how long it takes to get hot water to my sink or shower.

But, I do agree with the others- go under the camper and up through the floor, not along the top-side of the floor.

Sure going to have to empty your black tank a lot more often with that.
