Stay hitched, drop the landing gear and take some of the weight off the truck (Ford F350 Super Duty Diesel long bed)? Unhitch completely and re-hitch every morning?Other considerations? Thanks for your feedback!

Whatever takes the least amount of work.

Yes and no

I always un hook at a campground. I like the practice. Muscle memory and mental checklist. I never unhook walmartin or urban boondockin since some predatory towing companies are licensed to grab and go after business hours.

When planning to leave early in the morning I do the minimum regarding unhooking as I can get away with. Usually hook up the sewer hose, the water and the electric. I put the front stands down, (on manual with my auto-leveling system), throw some wheel chocks to prevent rocking and call it good. The only time I will unhook is if we are going out to eat, or chase fuel. Then I will rehook when I get back. The less I have to do in the morning the better, and the less chance of forgetting something when you are in a hurry to leave.
