Power awning question

We have a 2015 Cardinal (3675) which has two power awnings. One works fine, the other one (17 foot one) worked fine until last trip. It wouldn't extend. I can hear the motor click from outside, but no movement. I checked out the switch and it has only 3 wires attached, so I'm assuming there has to be a control box someplace. My question is does any Cardinal owner have any idea where it might be located.

No control box to my knowledge.
If motor clicks it's possible something is wrong.
It's under warranty correct?

Ours did that two weeks ago. I used a socket wrench on a cordless drill to manually extend the awning an inch then it worked fine the rest of the week.

Correct, no control box. The motor is a simple 12 volt dc motor and the awning switch just reverses the polarity (both 12 volt and ground) for extend and retract. OP said only 3 wires to switch. There should be 4 wires connected to the switch.

Power awnings

I agree power to operate awning is 12 volts. My care free switch had 6 wire attached (12 v, ground, and through switch its self, it reversed polarity). But only using 3 wires to switch, it is impossible to reverse polarity (power and ground) with out a control box. Besides that piece of information, the internet tells about a control box. My question is where is the control box in a 3675 Cardinal (2015). And to answer one response, yes it is still under warentry, but I have come to find if you have something fixed under warrenty they always break something else in the process and besides that if I don't learn anything now, what am I to do in the middle of campground with no knowledge of how to get back on the road.
