Slides squeak coming in need fix!

My slides make a loud squeaking sound when bring the kitchen and living room slides in to get ready to go. They are normal when being extended out for set up. I have spray slide-out lube on rails but does not change. Any advice would be helpful.

Have you treated the seals with spray or waxed the slide box?

No, just sprayed the rails underneath. It seems to be a high pitch squeal that only does it thing for a short time when first begin pulling in the slides. Bedroom is not a problem so far.

I have used https://www.amazon.com/Protect-All-4...+Seal+-+17+oz. in the past, works well. The seals will squeak a bit until they flip to go in if the seals and slide box are not treated.

I had the same problem. The dealer had to drop some of the underbelly and grease something underneath. I didn't go under and see what it was. I also lubed everything I could get to but it didn't help.

Had that in our previous trailer...exactly as you describe...it definitely comes from the underside and not the rubber seals. Dealer told me it can sometimes take an entire can of lube to get rid of the squeaking...says most people are not putting enough to get rid of it??? Also a while back in another thread here, someone mentioned having to remove the underbelly covering in order to access parts to lube.

Be extremely careful with lube on your rack type slide rails. Overspray on the bottom of the slide can definitely transfer to your rugs. Don't ask how I found out.

Lippert has a fix. When we were at the FR Goshen rally the Lippert tech came by and drilled a small hole and lubed it no more squeak. E mail them with your problem.
