Water heater bypass location

I have a 2020 Cardinal Limited. Does anyone know the location of the water heater bypass valves? Thanks!

If youíve located your actual water heater, youíll usually find the bypass valves are within inches of the lines into and out of the tank. Sometimes that means removing false panels or removing drawers. On my Class A, there was an access door I had to access from underneath the motorhome to reach up inside to get to the valves. My present motorhome has a false panel I remove located underneath the kitchen sink.

Thanks! I found the access panel. It was in the basement.

Wrong on the access panel. There is a winterize setting on the water control panel that bypasses the wh. Before using it, blowout the lines with compressed air as the lines to and from the wh still have water in them.

Thanks. I’ve never winterized myself. How and where do you blow out the lines?

Connect air compressor to city water inlet, set to 50psi. There are adapters made for this. Then run every faucet until just air comes out. Then flip the levers to winterize and run the antifreeze through.
