Holding tank heating pads Oasis

Has anyone installed these? Difficult? Issues? How to connect? To the fuse panel?

I would think the hardest part would bringing the wiring up to control panel. I ordered my camper the the option for tank heaters. Later RJD

When installing tank heat pads, aside from wiring, the most important part will be cleaning the surface of the tank where the pad's adhesive back will be applied.

If you don't apply on a clean surface the adhesive will merely stick to the dirt and dust that's accumulated and eventually start to fall off the tank. Heat transfer depends on the pad being attached firmly.

Clean well.

Also, consider using a relay to control power to the pads. Collectively the pads may draw more power than the switch is rated for as well as the voltage drop associated with long runs reducing the heat produced. Use large gauge wire (with fuse) to the relay then you can use smaller gauge wire for the switched control voltage.
