Oasis 21CK Mattress Issue

Hi all,
We are new to the forum and recently bought a Oasis 21CK, nice trailer but the mattress is horrible. I am sure there are many mattress posts but I wanted to see if anyone with this specific model has upgraded and what you upgraded with, it is such an odd size.
All your help is much appreciated
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Kristie. We have a different trailer but also found the mattress to be uncomfortable. We added a Perfect Harmony Mattress Topper from Camping World. Very comfortable now.

Thanks for the reply, is your mattress the same size, this one is 60x74? Not sure if all the Shasta models are the same.

Yep, standard short queen. You'll find that size in a lot of trailers. We just put a regular queen mattress topper on ours, and left the excess hang over the end of the mattress. My brother in law took his out and trimmed the excess to make it fit.

This did for a while, but when we were at the rally in Goshen they were selling a nice Euro top mattress. Well, despite being happy with the topper, since DW wants, DW gets. It's nice that we don't have to deal with the topper anymore, but it was pricey. $500 something for it, and that was at the show price.

http://www.walmart.com/search/?query...emory%20FoamWe purchased a Spa Sensations Gel Memory Foam 8" thick mattress from Walmart. My plan to was to use an electric knife and cut the additional length off, but we were able to use it the way it came.

It sleeps WONDERFUL! and this is after being in use 100+ nights for the past two years.

We bought a Sealy Trump at the Goshen Rally. It was $499 and it was well worth it. It had the springs and topper all built in one.

The trump didn't come in a short queen, that's why we went with the one LCI was selling. Don't remember the brand though.

We have a Shasta 27RLSS mattress is very thin but added a memory foam topper from a Mattress store and it is a whole new experience now, don't need a new mattress just have to make it better. We also used the Tuxedo suspenders trick to keep the sheet on the mattress without pulling off.
