Roller shades on Shasta Phoenix 33ck

I'm in the process of purchasing a Shasta 33ck Phoenix and noticed that the main area of the fifth wheel has roller type day shades only. Does anyone have any experience with the Phoenix because other models of the Phoenix have the same setup? I've never seen any RV yet that didn't at least have night shades or blinds to button up at night ! Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I am also interested in the answer. I just ordered a 34RD and hope they provide coverage at night.

The shades do provide some darkening. If it's privacy you are looking for, these are not the shades. At night I can see into my trailer, with some distortion. There are not any other shades provided with these. Hope this helps.

Yes. The wife and I loved it! We purchased the 33ck and decided if need be we would put cafe curtains on the rods for extra protection at night.

We ordered our 34RD. They called and said there was one at the factory already built, but it had the wrong color furniture. It was also Lane vs Lazyboy, so we chose to wait until ours it built to our liking. Good luck on the new coach!

Congrats Sears! Are you planning on towing with you 250? Yours is about 500 lbs lighter than ours and with your truck being newer, you are probably golden. I have an 06 GMC 2500HD and MFG specs seem to indicate I'm ok, some of the towing calculators show overloaded. I had planned on upgrading the truck, but how much better it would be if I didn't have to.

My old Wildcat was about 1k heavier and we had no issues towing in mountains or open road.... With the new hitch on the Phoenix I am not expecting any issues.... Contemplating some type of air assistance in the shocks but undecided yet

I'm towing my 33ck with my 2004 Silverado 2500hd with Firestone airbags. Handles well, no problems. TJPRCFLYER also from Texas!

We like Dellaneras on the island! It's on the beach and very clean! No pool but we enjoy the park very much! Don't find many Rv parks on the beach. This one is nice. Not super big but the sites are level and a good size.

We have the 2016 33ck with took the valances off and replaced them with full curtains that are room darkening. Very happy with the choice.

I was looking at a 2016 32RE and just wondering how the quality is and resale? I had a Shasta 27RLSS Trailer and liked it but did not retain its value well. I saw the new ones at a recent RV show and like the 2016 interior compared to the 2014-2015

I'll at least let you know my opinion of the quality when ours comes in.
