What kind of 'stereo system' do you have?
Our iRV66 was connected to the tv from the factory.

My system was already connected up (Genysis entertainment system and Toshiba TV). Might check if it is already done.

I check and see no function to be able to connect tv to stereo. I'll have to go look to see what kind of radio it is but I think it maybe el cheapo. Only have 2 speakers in ceiling. The radio is a drive never heard of it and the tv is RCA Later RJD

Hook RCA cables to "audio out" on tv and "audio in" on the radio. They may already be connected that way. You will likely need to set the radio to the correct mode to play this audio.

It may be labeled auxiliary or something similar.

I use the aux side to hook up my satellite radio. May have to pull the radio out see what is plugged in to it. I will try your idea with out the satellite radio plugged in and see what happens. Later RJD

Sorry I'm late to the conversation, so not sure if you got anywhere with this. But I tried connecting the TV via the radio to the ceiling speakers and sound was terrible. So as you I connected the Aux to my XM Radio. So to fix the sound quality while watching TV, I purchased a soundbar and connected to the TV with an optical audio cable. What a difference that made.

Well I did just as you mentioned and purchased a Vizio sound bar system 5.2 surround sound. Took a bit to figure out but finally got it to work. Thanks for the suggestion. Stupid tv I have does not have the optical cable connection so used the other options offered. Later RJD

Didn't you get the Furrion TV with the 5ver? That's what came with ours and it had the optical audio connection. But glad you got it hooked up anyway. I just got out to our camper today due to crappy rainy weather we have had for the last couple of weeks. Our radio is a Jensen, that's what came with it but since we use the sound bar and also use XM radio, we really don't use it for listening to local radio stations.

Well they put a RCA tv in the camper and no optical plug. Also radio is one I never heard of and not stereo. I like you plug in my satellite radio. Later RJD

I have a hot mess. A Jensen tv with hdmi/rca but no blue tooth or optic cable input. The surround sound is already hooked up to it and the built in the wall type radio/cd/dvd player is also hooked up to the tv. Taking up all the red and white areas. I cant hear the voices on tv so I bought a soundbar that has blue tooth or red/white cable hook ups or optic cable hook ups. I don’t know what to do. I can’t hook up my sound bar I guess. So frustrating !

It helps to have more details, like what Shasta make/model do you have? What brand of TV and sound bar do you have? Only providing minimal information is not helpful to us that might be able to help you.
I to have a Jensen radio as well and was able to connect it to my TV, but the sound was still horrible. So I bought a soundbar and connected it to my TV, not the radio.

Twenty years ago it was simple. My 1976 McIntosh has only rca plugs! Was state of the art.
Today it is not!
There is a multitude Of ways to get sound from one item to another. Arc hdmi cables are the current wires. However the young ones are all Bluetooth. Old stuff is rca. Optical. Some others.
You need the model number of each and every component. Then get the diagram of the input output jacks.
Then the manuals. Then see what wires your friends have run.
It should become obvious. Maybe!
If not get a Bluetooth speaker for your phone. We have an adapter to connect the phone to a tv. Which then connects to the sound system connected to the speakers.
