2018 A215Hw interior lights not working

Was boondocking and interior lights did not work off battery. Water pump and water heater and furnace and outside lights worked. Called Forest river and they told me yo go to a technician. I did change the fuse before taking it in but could not plug in to shore power. The technic Ian just called and told me the lights work on battery. Ant ideas?

Not sure how your A-frame is wired, but mine has two momentary cut-off switches inside behind the fabric where the front roof panel hinge is, driver side. I pushed on them to see what they do. One appeared to turn off the two roof lights in the camper. I can't remember what the other one did right off hand (turn off water pump and/or furnace?). My guess those switches are to make sure lights and other cannot be on, or accidentally become on while the roof panels are down. At any rate, you might want to check that your switches are not hung up or stuck.

That is what the problem was. Wish Forest River would have told me about that switch. Thanks again

Your dealer should have told you, during the walkthrough.

Do all the A frames have this hidden switch? I was never shown not told about it. Mine is put up or I would look.

As far as I know, ALL folding trailers have kill switches to prevent the lights coming on when closed up

Also the fan. And the fan has a switch if the lid is closed past a certain point.
