A hello and a question

Hi,
Recently purchased a used 2017 Flagstaff T21QBHW and am really loving it so far. Unfortunately, our roof actuator broke the first time we actually left the driveway lol. It's almost easier without but we will get it fixed eventually. I have a question regarding the grill that came with the camper. Has anyone found/made a griddle top for the grill? Thanks and look forward to chatting with you all.

We also have a Flagstaff T21QBHW. We have a small cast iron griddle we use on our RVQ grill, it works great. We never cook inside any more. We purchased it at Bass Pro Shop.

I have an old Coleman griddle we have had for years. It fits the whole top of the grill.

Steve02bat, just basically a piece of sheet steel Coleman pressed into a griddle. I think we got it at a department store.

You'd think someone would have made a insert to replace the grates. I wouldn't want to cook much bacon inside

You are right, we pre cook our bacon before we leave just for that reason.

Does that griddle slide around while you are trying to cook on it?

I think ours is cast aluminium with Teflon coating. It came with a campstove we bought a long time ago.

But, but, but, bacon is the greatest thing ever. How could you not want to have the scent of fried cured bacon everywhere? When people ask, "how are you?" I answer, "If I were any better, I'd be bacon!"

We have the 2016 Rockwood A Frame A 122 and we found the grill that was provided wasn't really good and we bought instread the CampChef Pro 30 Deluxe one burner stove and had it adapted to our trailer gaz connection (so, no need to have another propane tank, with quick connect you can connect it with the same connection as the grill that was provided). We're very happy with this stove that is way more efficient than the grill, better built and we put a cast iron griddle over it and it works well. Have lots of fun with your A Frame!
