a must have for 2012

I purchased one last year .. and off the back of my pick-up I can push fresh water into any large container, and then offload it into my freshwater reserve tank without pumping, its all via gravitational force, and an extra 10ft mini water hose. Its a "water thief".
I used it constantly last year in high season to avoid the waste water/fill up station lines ... too.

Water theif

I think he is referring to this: It allows you to slide the rubber piece over any spicket, regardless if it has threads or not. You can attach a hose to the other end

All Michigan state parks do not allow the " Water Thief ". The reason is because it has no " BACKFLOW" protector. I was caught using one and was told to remove it and not to use it again...........

Does a regular hose have a backflow protector

I think the ranger was having a bad day.......there are back flow arrestors on both inlets to our RV, probably on all RV's and some of the parks we stayed in had backflow arrestors on the line at the back of the campsite faucet why insist on another one on your hose connection?
