A-Series Awning - New From Forest River

Just happened over to the FRInc website and we looking around at the new 2012 Hardside Popup floor plans.

nothing much has changed other than adding the toy hauler models, and one seems to have an option for a shower/toilet and had the stove fridge moved.

Biggest thing I saw was that they now have a factory optional AWNING!

I really want more info on this awning. That's one thing I would love, an integrated awning system for my A126.

Pictures are in the brochure on their website - page 11 of the brochure.

Thanks for the clue-in to the awning photos. I emailed my dealer tonight and asked what they cost. Hope to hear back in a day or two.

The main thing missing on my A-frame is the awning. My dealer had told me they had one in the works. I also told them to let me know when it was available. Haven't heard a word from them. If anyone finds out price and availability on these, please share with the rest of us.

We have been all throught this awning issue. Basically this awning looks to be Para-que awning ... or a nice knockoff of this. Issues are that they are basically a real pain to set up, and they cut off alot of interior light to the camper. I think I will stick with my EZ up .. or whatever it is ...
Interesting post tho ... as my dealer was itching to order one of these for me as soon as they came out ...
thanks .

My dealer (http://www.bobandjosrv.com/) responded right away, here's the response:

"Yes they do have those available now. They are an Awning/Screen Room combo and the cost is $595.00 (plus S&H, tax).
Let us know if you wish us to order one for you."

I'll be interested to see if others get the same quote. At that price I'll probably have to let it go. I spent a small fortune on a Paja Que 9x12 screenhouse a few years ago, and it may just last forever. Guess I should see if there's some way to hook it up to the camper.
