A124S Grey Water Adapters?

I've searched here and on Google and I have not had any success. I am looking for some sort of adapter that would allow me to drain the grey water from the sink and shower of an A124S, to a standard RV drain commonly used at an RV park. I am operating on the assumption that RV parks do not like you dumping grey water on the ground. I recently purchased my 2013 Rockwood A124S, and I am really looking forward to getting it out on the road once I can get all the accessories for it.

Presuming you drain the grey water with a garden style hose, you can use one of these.

Grey Water Drain Adapter

It slips into a rubber or foam seal then into the park sewer system.

Before I had one if these in my old pop up, I ran a short piece of hose into the drain and stuffed some paper towels into the drain to arrest the odor. When I left, the paper went down the drain and the end of the hose was cut off and put in the trash. Some RV parks will not let you use a hose the way I did so it is best to plan ahead

Thanks! I am looking for what looks like a reducer. The grey water outlets on the A124S looks to be 1.5", and threaded.

I never even thought to check the service side attachment needed while shopping. I had a right angle reducer that went when I sold my pop up. It converted from the 1.5 inch male pipe thread outlet to to a male hose thread.

Your welcome. I just happen to know what it was.

You can use any metal Y adaptor without valves from the hardware store. Cut hoses to the specific lengths you need to reach place you want the adapter to be. Or even a T adaptor to have the hoses join where one drops to the ground. But since yours are close together that idea should work fine.


From my days as a pop up owner, I would think the best arrangement would be for the connector to be as low as possible to give the low shower pan drain the greatest head possible for drainage and lowest chance for a backup from the sink. But I don't know your specific configuration.

This helps. I am such a dolt. First trip was Yosemite lakes with a full hookup. Ran a hose for the sink drain. For the shower just on ground. No one knew what or how it connected. A couple of real nice guys at the campground even went online and searched for a manual and said there was no information for the grey water drain. I do know that if you use a real long hose the sink will not drain, or will take forever to drain. So I am going to try the Y connector. The dealer did give me a connector for the hose hookup after I could not figure out the drain connector that came with the trailer. The service guy suggested a length of plastic tubing, but did not say anything about not draining on the ground. Guess I learn all of my lessons the hard way.

Man Topper's was real nice and gave me the 90° piece in addition to the straight one that came with it. They gave me few nice freebies during the walk through.
