Thanksgiving Holiday

Yes we will be camping for Thanksgiving at Myrtle Beach, made reservations a month ago. We have a place there that we have been going to for years and now want to leave our trailer there in their storage so we no longer have to tow it down...We had been going to a Condo there the past 7 or 8 years and have had this thing for sale and we had no luck so, we feel this will benefit us as well as 2 daughters and the grandkids. They can use it as well. We live in Danville, Va, so it's maybe 4 hours or so to drive down, Pirateland Campground. Its a great place. We have it all packed with our foods and we'll start out Wednesday morning. Happy thanksgiving to you all!!!

We are on our way with our new Berkshire 39A to the Christmas Light Fest in Natchitoches, Louisiana. We will meet up with my son and his wife who live near Dallas, with their new Forrest River 5th Wheel. We are staying at the Grand Encore RV Park. This is a very nice and well maintained park. On Wed we are moving to Broken Bow, OK for the remainder of Thanksgiving week.

We started Tuesday and got back this afternoon. Went pretty well as we had thanksgiving last weekend and didn’t try that again. We had a good trip except the Tuesday night storm...I thought we were on a fair ride. Luckily it didn’t last but about an hour.

I was talking to Jesus. He must have listened as I am still kicking.

We rolled in yesterday as everyone left. Have a lake-front site and we’re surrounded by empty sites.

We've already had a few hard frosts in NC and the trailer is a bit north in VA.
Just finished winterizing. Time for lunch and a dip in the indoor pool, and off we go.
