Artis water pump pressure switch

It seems that the pressure switch on the installed Artis water pump (# pds1-130-1240e) on my a-frame. The pump runs continuously. I do get water out of the faucet so I know that it does have suction. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere.

Anybody know of a source for the pressure switch?

Sounds like it might be sucking air somewhere. Do you have a winterization port and is the valve closed.

Definitely a consideration. I don't have any sign of a suction leak (sputtering, low pressure, etc). I haven't done anything to the water system, other than drain the water tank after our last trip.

First, have you checked for the obvious problems?:

Clean out the debris trap screen behind the round plastic dial. A blockage could cause that.

Check that the outside shower knobs are off. They are easily jarred open and forgotten during travel, ruining the vacuum.

Yes, I checked the strainer and the shower - all ok... I also checked the valve going into the tank....ok also. Besides I have good flow out the faucet....the pump just won't shut off.

I thought the pressure switch was integrated into the pump so total replacement is required, I am not positive but maybe

I picked up a new Sureflo pump to replace the old Artis pump. We're camp I ng at Indiana Dunes National Park so I'll replace it when we get home.

You'll be happy with the SHURFlo.

Replaced the Artis pump with a Sureflo....all is good now....

I also installed a tee in the discharge side, before the filter, and run a 1/2" plastic hose with a spvc shutoff valve through the floor to the back of the trailer to an outside spigot I installed earlier. Now I have an easy source for outside water....
