Brand new and potty enclosure falling apart
Had the 2018 Rockwood A213hw 2 whole days. Was in it today reading manuals taking plastic off toilet. The support arm came completely off the potty enclosure, the screws fell out of the melamine. Then I really looked at the thing. The piano hinge where the front face connects to the top melamine is pulling away too. Screws missing on both piano hinges. I hope not a sign of things to come. Should I ask the dealer to replace the two pieces (front and top). A 2 day old trailer shouldn't have repaired parts alreay. Not sure how well that stuff repairs in any case.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can you post a picture of the damage?
Yes, anything falling apart should be repaired under warranty.

Looks like the factory installed screws did not hold at all. I would take it to the dealer to document it. Have the dealer order the new top and back wall panel, schedule a repair date to take it back in to get fixed, If you leave it there "during busy season" you will miss a good month of camping.
Have the dealer rig it for you in the mean time.

Sounds as if the dealer did NOTHING about checking over the unit when it came in. MAKE them order the parts and take it back when they get them in so it isn't tied up in his yard for months.

IF it was mine- I think I'd try replacing all the screws and maybe epoxy them
back in place.
Is it possible to turn the solid surface screw side up while the epoxy sets?
It might run out if upside down....
I believe it would be stronger than new.
Then re-attach to the wall.
I'm not sure what your setup is and maybe the solid surface can't be moved
if so forget what I just said.
Yeah it sucks having a new unit with problems but maybe you can fix this
one and not have to wait for a dealer.
If it doesn't work then you can take it back.
Good luck!

I thought about fixing myself. We do a lot of wood working stuff. But if the fix fails and then I take it in, they may blame my fix and not cover it. I emailed pics to the dealer. I asked them to order a new top and I will bring in when it comes in. If they concur, then I will do a repair job to get it functional until then.

You can also email the warranty rep for forest river a frames. He just sends me parts so I dont have to deal with the dealer. Really responsive. He just needs pictures and your VIN. He sent me a whole new enclosure.
