OK, I was unhitching our A223HW and had a little more resistance than usual, but gave it 1 more crank to release the ball and bang--tongue jack no longer engages. Is this a shear pin that can be replaced? Or do I just buy a new one? Any recommendations on a make/model?
pop off the top cap and look inside. if gear is chipped get a new jack . under 50.00$. shear pin "maybe". jack up trailer VIA bottle jack so ,no pressure on gears. 12e5.00$ will get you a 12v elec. jack.
