Not sure what Flextape is, sounds like one of those As Seen On TV items, stay away. I used Eternabond tape four years ago, holding like the day I installed it and never had a leak.Better to go with a proven product in my book.

X2. FlexSeal FlexTape is not recommended. FlexSeal products do not last long and are not compatible with many sealants used by the RV industry.

Eternabond is the best thing to use on all seams. It is warranted for 10yrs when properly applied following the manufacturers directions.

Leaking windows

I had a leaky back bubble window on my 2014 A122. I applied Eternabond but still had the leak. The problem turned out to be tiny cracks in the corner of the window itself, not the seal around it. I used a product referenced in other posts, Cap't Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure, and this seems to have done the job. Look at the corners of your window and check for the cracks. I used a magnifying glass to see mine. I found cracks on one of the front windows too and applied the stuff there too. I'm not unhappy with applying Eternabond as it sounds like it is just a matter of time before the seals leak.

Just had the Eternabond delivered 1 hour ago from Amazon. Now I need to learn on YouTube and wait until the rain stops. Oh, need to buy the heavy roller.

After that, need to fix the broken valve on the toilet. Maybe when I fix the stuff, it will be better than new.

I don't think anyone has mentioned using 3M Extreme Sealing Tape. Here is the link where I installed the 3M Tape on my camper along with pictures. Pics are toward the end.

Works great...easy to put on and still looks new.

Tried something different...

I needed something to fix a leak around the fantastic fan and eternabond was not available at the time, so I used Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape (not the Gorilla waterproof tape) which is very similar to eternabond. The label says it is permanent and will last for years....time will tell, but so far, it has worked perfectly at a fraction of the cost.
