bug screen for hotwater vent

I have been looking at this 4 Pack Flying Insect Screen for RV, but the large screen should really be 6.3" to properly cover the hot water vent.
Has anyone found something better?
What I like about this set is that it has a silicone antislip rim.

Not sure what your appliances look like, but here’s the grills for mine.

A-frame owners likely know, but mine is like
The water heater is the black door near the front.
It has a 16x16 cm stainless steel grill and some black louvres 11x11 cm.
16cm is around 6.3" and thus bigger than the 6x6" screen available from Amazon.

The insect screens you need are 2 round screens that mount separately, approximately 2 1/2” in diameter.

For the water heater?
That is what the OP asked about.

I found some metal screening at Lowe's cut to fit and epoxy to inside of door. Later RJD

Interesting... two 2" round screens might fit a furnace but would be worthless on a water heater with a 6.3" square vent as the OP indicates they have.

easy fix

I cut two pieces of hardware-cloth the sizes needed, laid down a bead of caulk and then placed the wire screen into the wet caulk, ... when it sets up you have a lifetime fix, eight years and counting, ... quick, easy and permanent, ... ok, me using white caulk isn't exactly pretty, but that's on the inside and doesn't show, so that doesn't bother me, I suppose clear caulk would be a little less UN-Pretty, but in the end, this method is quick, easy and permanent, ...

Screens

I use the hot water and heater vents. I put plastic ties to hold the hot water heater one on. Kinda hard for me to get the little springs to work. I put screen strips on my refrig.
