Cam locks won't push out.

I was going to change my CH751 locks and after removing the cam and nut, the locks won't push out. Should I force them? It looks like there is a little white sealant applied to them.

If it is the sealant that's holding the lock try carefully freeing it with an Xacto knife.

Will do. It's brand new, so I didn't want to ruin anything.

I changed all my CH751 locks with Combi-Cam locks. The CH751 locks are friction fit. A little bit of gentle pushing and they will come out. You mentioned you have sealant on yours, so carefully remove it with your fingernail or a plastic putty knife, being careful to not scratch your gelcoat finish.

You can tap the back of the lock cylinders with a small rubber mallet to get them moving. They can be a little tight.
