Chalet roof actuators?

Would these type lift systems work on ours? Anyone know anything about their reliability. Videos below show chalet electric and manual lifts. The electric looks like it is on both sides. I'm kind of digging the manual one. My 213 is a lot bigger and heavier, but seems like there would be something that would work that is non-electric, fast but not hard on the shoulders.

Chalet lift system

I like that. After getting a pacemaker six weeks ago, my doctor still doesn't me want to set my A122S up. The thought of the pressure to lift the roof is making me leery, too.

My A213 has the electric lift, but it seems its a matter of when not if the design on the FR will go out. The motors seem horribly undersized and prone to get water in them and rust. If it does, I was looking for an alternative design (electric or otherwise) that would work better.
