Door rubbing on ceiling when closed

Hi, We just picked up our 2013 A128S Yesterday. Opened it up and noticed that the door had rubbed on the ceiling in a few spots. (It was not like that when we picked it up) The sides appeared to be completely down, so not sure what would be the cause. Do others have this issue, and what do you do about it? I did a search but didn't see any applicable results in the first 100 or so.

Thanks

I'd fold it down almost all the way and lookfor close fits.. there should be an opposite rub for what is showing on the door. You may have to add some rubber or silicone at the opposite ceiling spot.

Same thoughts as Monty - also be sure to use the door latch so that it lays flat and in a locked/secured position while fded down for travel.

I use a piece of cardboard,

about 3' x 3', and it acts as a buffer.

If you are hitting potholes or bumps in the road,
any buffer in the sandwiching helps ease the scraping.

The cardboard is a good idea. We have the same problem in our HW192 with the door scraping the ceiling.

I used cardboard when I first saw this rubbing but DW said to try folded dishcloths and they work great. On the rubber bumper pads, I bought some felt furniture pads that where sticky on one side and stuck them on the bumpers to stop them from marring up the counter and the other side panel. Have worked very well.

If you watch my video again of the pre pickup he talks about that as being a problem.

We use a rug. When we arrive at destination it is used on the floor.
