Electric roof malfunction 2018 A Liner

Greetings. New to the group and first post. Wish it were more positive but I tried to comment to the below post, but it it not allowed as it is an older post. I am having the exact same issue and want to see if others also have this issue. Also how helpful was Forest River customer support?

My model is 2018 coachmen clipper 12rbst and when using the electric lift system the tension spring rods in the corner had a major malfunction, became misaligned, and caused damage to the interior and exterior walls. I requested help via Forest Rivers website on Saturday 8-7 and no response yet. I filled and sent their questionnaire request. I also see on the below post Forest River customer service stepped in to help and I am hoping I will get the same response. The camper is from 2018 and I have seen other posts elsewhere on the internet with similar issues. It is currently in the raised position as I fear lowering it again with cause further damage. Thank you in advance for any help!
