Finally got it in the garage

Tight fit front to rear, but it fits, and I couldn't be happier. Click image for larger version

Excellent fit. Maybe foam noodles for a future bumper stop.
I’d also move the fire extinguisher from the back wall to a more accessible location. When seconds count.....it might matter.

This was just a trial fit. Next to the fire extinguisher is a 110 V 30amp outlet that I can plug into. I am going to move it over about 2 more feet. Then everything on the wall there will easily accessible. But thank you for the input.

Same for us - tight fit for our A213HW in the garage

I got a good laugh out of this post since we went through the same process. We spent 3 weeks cleaning our garage out in an attempt to fit our A213HW in the garage. We finally pulled it off with just a few inches to spare just like you. I bought some cheap wheel dollies from Harbor Freight. I put one under each wheel and then bought another to place under the hitch. This way I just back the camper into the center of the garage, jack it up onto the dollies and then push it tightly against the garage. With a smooth floor the camper is easily pushed around in the garage. This gave us more room to park our SUV. Here are some pictures:

We went through the same thing only I had to raise the door 8 inches also. I didn't realize how tight it was going to be until we backed the camper in. At that time we found we couldn't unhitch it with it snug against the back wall. When we raised the tougue to get it off the ball it would hit the back wall. So, we had to leave it out about a foot to unhitch, set the jack on a dolly, then when unhitched lower the hitch to level position and push the camper back against the wall. Also learned the second time putting it away it also has to be square with the building otherwise the front door hits the hitch, it is a tight fit. Sure beats leaving it set out in the weather!!

So glad others know the pain. I waited 3 years for this day as my brother and sister-in-law lived me me with a lot of their belongings in my garage. Since my truck is to long, next best thing is the camper. After cleaning and rearranging the garage, I went and picked it from storage praying the whole way home that it would fit. Prayer does work, lol. Plus having the 110 V 30 A outlet in the garage means I can just leave it plugged in.

Very nice. A quick rookie question. I'm assuming that in storage 110V and 15 amp is plenty since everything should be off? I noticed you said you are plugging into 30 am. It's only keeping the batteries charged. Is that correct?

Zoinks, I put that outlet in to run the a/c, cool down the fridge, test all the circuits. I do this because prior to being able to park in the garage, my association would only allow 1 night and two days to clean/load prior to a trip.

I have run the A/C OR the microwave plus an inspection lamp, a small vacuum cleaner, and converter from a 15A garage circuit. This is when I pull the unit out of the garage and into the driveway to raise the roof and walls and work on it. I have an extension 30A cord plus the camper 30A cord that I use with a 15/20A adapter into my 15A garage circuit.

Inside the garage, I use the camper 30A cord with adapter to charge batteries and run the fridge when desired.

I do have to remove my spare tire to fit into the garage. I hate that, but I've gotten the spare install or remove down to about 5 min now. I need the spare mounted to help reduce tongue weight when towing. (I tried without the spare mounted, amazing that it made a noticeable difference in the way the camper towed.)
