Flagstaff hardside a frame

So we have had problems with the switch on our a frame. The last time, last summer we were checking it out before going to the beach. The switch was dead. Called our local dealer ( 1 hour away) and he said part was back ordered. So we had to cancel trip and got no refund😩
We decided to sell camper back to dealer as we just weren’t using it. They opened it up manually, and it was full of mold….. now they won’t take it. Three weeks later and we’re still waiting for the part. We are moving in 1 month. What should we do??? We paid $15000 for it 2 years ago and have only used it twice😩

I’m not sure what you are referring to? What switch? The switch turns what on and off? Are you referring to the switch connected to the roof actuator that opens and closes the roof?

Yes! It got wet and shorted out I guess, this is the second time this has happened to us, and we were unable to open the camper.

this happened to us and we have taken the actuator off and do it manully. If the struts are working properly it really is not hard. We have raised it wthout the struts and it still is not rough. Gave up on the acutator for because it breaks all the time. Sorry about the mold. You probably could have sold it for the price you bought it for a year ago in the middle of the pandemic. We are heading out without the struts still not being correct but will deal with them over the winter.
