It is likely that people from FR do read the board. They mostly do it anonymously to avoid getting dragged into unpleasant situations in public.

there is not a FR rep for the A-frames, that we are aware of.

there are only a handful of reps who are "official" members of the Forum.

as was said, there are probably a lot more who read the Forum, but are not members, probably due to what Pooneil said.

So just by the chance that a Forest River rep wants to step up to the plate, here goes. I have a 2015 T19qbhw. I have posted at other times about my inability to control the exterior speaker volume. I heard some amazing methods people have devised to do this. Now I've been listening to music since the 50's and over the years have owned some fine stereos. Now my above mentioned trailer has a Kenwood stereo with 2 speakers inside and 1 outside. I have no problems with the way the stereo works aside from no volume control ( that I can find) for the exterior speaker.
So if a rep is reading this note maybe he or she can chime in. I would even believe that there is no volume control and never was meant to have one.

Thanks

Mudman2, try giving Fred Yoder a call at Flagstaff/Rockwood Service and Warranty. Fred's number is (574) 642-5166.

I have no problem controlling the volume of the outside speaker. I use the radio's fader control to delete sound going to the inside speakers, and then the volume control to adjust the outside level. You may have an outside speaker wiring issue, or a bad radio.

Or...I have noticed that the inside speakers are much louder at the same volume setting when all speakers are on, probably because they are larger and a different model speaker than the outside smaller marine type speaker.

Doesn't the fader control front to back?

Fader does front to back. In my A122s the balance switches inside to outside and vice versa.

I wired my radio so that balance controls left to right and fader controls outside to inside. I also put a second speaker outside (same model as stock) so that I get stereo sound outside as well as inside.
