Greetings from Medicine Hat Alberta!

Hello all, I just upgraded from a1974 parkland tent trailer to a 2014 Rockwood A128S. My tow vehicle is a 2011 Grand Caravan. I'm excited to take this trailer out in the next coming week. My two kids and I are going to be traveling around Kootenay Lake in BC. At first I thought I would never buy one of these but once I saw it up front I was sold!!!

Welcome to our little family and congrats on getting a A128S, I too got the 2012 last August. I'm planning to do the East Coast next month with it and who knows I may do the West next year and you could provide us the highlights in Alberta to visit...eh

Happy Camping!

Welcome, Gary, and congrats on the new A-Frame.
I'm sure you and the family will really enjoy it (most of us "A-Framers" just love ours).

How did you guys make out during the recent flooding out there?

Glad you made out OK. I went through MH last year -I bought my T10 just outside of Lethbridge last July.

I pity the horse that has to drag that across the prairie during a move...

Where abouts you headed in Ontario next year (if you don't mind me asking)?
(Like my distinguished colleague, ko777 -we're both senior members, you see- I originally hail from that province)

Ah... near the Muskokas... a bit east of there if I remember correctly?
Lots of pretty country down that way.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase!

Enjoy your trip to Kootenay Lake, I lived in that area for 20 years :-) Used to live in the little town of Ainsworth (where the hot springs are), right on the lake - very scenic.

Funny you should say that, I'm camping at mirror and I'm definitely wanting to check out the hot springs

I remember Mirror Lake... nice little spot to be at. I always liked the hot springs, the caves are neat - a little toasty, but you get used to the temperature and it really relaxes you afterwards. The 5 degree cold pool outside is a real shock after that! It's much more refined and polished than it was in the late 70's when I lived there (there never used to be lights in the caves, so it was rather dark).

If you're heading to Kaslo, check out the SS Moyie sternwheeler museum for an interesting look back in history (if you haven't already, that is!).

Greetings from Calgary. We just got our 2014 A122S a few months ago. Has been awesome so far. I think you will really enjoy it as it really is full featured.

So far we have went to Tunnel Mountain Easter long weekend, Kinbrook Island May long weekend and have been out a couple of other times. Going this weekend to Fairmont Hot Springs, the next weekend to Dinosaur Park, a week off and then Red Streak in BC, then Red Lodge the next weekend.

Going to be a busy summer but a fun one.

I need to spend more time up North. This sounds like a wonderful trip. And not nearly as hot as here, way down south.
