We spent 6 weeks visiting all of the Maritime provinces except Newfoundland.(did not want to tangle with a hurricane). Started in Montreal and continued through Ontario, Quebec, NB, PEI, NovaScotia, Maine, Ma back to Chili NY. Pei was fun, NB was ok, Nova Scotia was awesome, City of Quebec is very interesting historically, Maine was fun, in Ma we visited the Rockwell Museum.
Nova Scotia held our interest the most with Halifax, Peggies Cove, Digby, Hall's Harbor, Hopewell Rocks, the Ganong Chocolate Factory, Keith's Brewery, Cabot trail and lots lots more. If you are planning to visit Nova Scotia you will need more time than you think.

And that is a fare subsidized by the Province of Nova Scotia to attract tourists to explore Cape Breton. All of NS is expensive but worth a visit along with PEI and the Lobster suppers.
