Has anyone used one of these Solar Lights?

I attached this light to my old Airstream that I do not move because it is my hunting camp. It works really well and I am planning on getting one for my A-Frame when I get it. I think I can attach it so I can take it off when not moving the trailer. It cost $29.99 at Costco. No electricity is needed since it is solar powered.

I paid $29.99 in the Costco store near me.

It can be turned off or automatic or to stay on all the time. When it is fully charged it will stay on for 8 hours. To conserve the batteries I leave it on auto so it goes on when the motion detecter is triggered.

What does mounting it (presumably you have to drill) do in terms of warranty?

I don't know about the warranty, but I was thinking of mounting it with velcro so I can put it up and take it down easily.

GT40 - How is this solar light working out on the A-Frame? Is the velcro hplding up? Where did you decide to place it, on the trailer?

depending on where your camping .. this bad boy may not be too neighour friendly. Last weekend we had some dude open up his awning and disperse about 3000 watts of .. well whatever onto his campsite. it was a quickly closed off ... as the neighbourhood was in a bit of an uprour ...
campfires and low coleman lights are ok .. but hey if im camping .. i dont want to feel like im in friggin Toronto ..

I ended up putting it near the door of my Airstream trailer ( not an A-Frame) I use for my hunting camp. So far it has worked as advertised even with all the rain we have been getting.
