Heat pump engaging slowly on startup.

I have a T12DDST Aframe that has been a great trailer. It is starting to require some extra love lately. ....
That being said, the heat pump ( Dometic 441003 series) seems to very slowly make a bump sound when it starts to engage the fan. Seems once the fan is engaged, everything takes off. Is there a capacitor somewhere in line on the fan? I can't find one on the wiring schematic either.
Or, is this the reversing valve doing its job? It doesn't sound right. As it has a different sound every time and it sounds like its laboring to start.

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
