How to fill the toilet flush on t21tbhw

Does anyone know how to fill the flush tank in a t21tbhw, I think we have the c223-s thetford toilet. When you remove the casette I see hoses, but do not see easily how to fill the flush tank with water.

Thanks in advance.

Most RV's don't have a flush tank...

You just hold the pedal down to run the water and it opens the valve at the bottom of the bowl to release the contents.

This is in the A Frame sub-forum. I suspect it's not a "most RV".

Thetford's website says it connects directly to the cold water line:

I am not talking about flushing, I talking about filling the little tank on the c223-s toilet.

So does that mean the holding tank underneath the camper, which I do not use. I usually go to campgrounds with water/elect.

It needs either city water connection or water in the freshwater tank. The toilet has no flush tank.

Thank you I will try this connecting the city water and then pressing the flush button to see if the water does flush as described.

It will take a bit if this is the first time you have used it. Got to get the air out of the line. Make sure to empty the cassette before moving. It sometimes leaks out in transit.

What year is yours? Is there a cutoff valve on yours? If its used the previous owner may have put one in or severed the line for some reason.
The hose could also be pinched somewhere.

We have a T21 also and the bowl fills with water by pushing the blue button on the top. The water is plumbed using either the city water or from the tank and water pump. We didn't have to do anything extra when hooked with city water.

My research on that model shows it to be using the onboard FW tank for a water source. I had a 2010 model popup that had a separate water reservoir. I can't find the specs for your models FW tank but I remember mine wasn't very much.

Then i must have some kind of problem since I have filled fresh water tank and hooked up city water and no flush. You can press the blue button till time expires and nothing happens. What a joke.

I think I'd follow the hose out to the diverter and investigate. Do you get any sound like the water pump is trying to pump?

Filling flush water reserve

We used to have an A-Frame. When you look at your cassette (in place), there was a clear tube running up the left side of the cassette cubby. This tube shows how much water is in the reserve. To fill it (usually when you get to your campsite), before you attach the water to your camper, open the cassette cubby, and swivel out the large tube at the top and unscrew the cap. Fill with water until the clear tube is filled to about an inch from the top. Your cassette now has enough in the reserve for about 2 days (with 2 people in camping in your camper). Hope this helps.

There is electrical involved to the toilet as well. Could be a fuse.

Do you have water at the sink faucet? If you do or not, that narrows it down a bit as to what component has a problem. There is a fuse to the left of the cassette. Saw it today when I was emptying.
