Quick update: pulled radio and actually fire extinguisher so I could see what was what inside the cabinet. Since there was an addendum supplied it is clear they wired it intentionally wrong. I never did find out why. Could see that both inside speakers were wired to right side and the singular outdoor speaker was mounted to one of the left channels. Interestingly the negative terminals for the inside speakers were swapped. I pulled all the crimp terminals, resoldered the wires correctly with shrink tubing and it's much better. On the outdoor speaker I simply change the tuner to MONO mode when using it. One last note, I could not see +/- references on my speakers so I simply made sure the we're consistent to preserve channel phasing. It's still not clear to me if this is optimal but given the speakers are low quality I may swap them out at some point so for now don't care.

hey,
dumbfounded. yes well put.
unfortunately i end up pretty disappointed in forest river for not acknowledging this obvious defect, and my dealer for not pressing them to do so. thinking about starting a new thread in the general forum for a little more visibility. when we go through our initial checkout, we're warned against making modifications that my void warranty, therefore hesitant to just make a relatively simple correction to this workmanship defect myself. then the dealer charges me a bunch without even telling me it's not covered under warranty. this is my first camper purchase, is this how the whole industry works?

Can anyone tell me how the outdoor speaker terminals are configured? + and - or is there dual inputs?

Took first trip with A122TH and for the most part it's quite nice. Through this excellent forum I learned what kind of quality workmanship you can expect so this has helped with expectations. Wiring and plumbing is **** but I can tidy to my liking.
