We are happy with our A122S, but would like to find a model with one change. I don't know if it can be done, but I would like to see a cassette potty, instead of a free-standing one, so that you could just open a hatch-door outside, slide the waste tank out for emptying and installing. Seems like setting that potty in at night and out in the AM every day is starting to feel harder on my back every day. Every manufacturer that includes a casette potty eliminates the dinette to get it in. We like having the dinette available. I assume that such a feature might require a high-wall A-frame design, and that would be alright with me, but I can't find one. Anyone know of a company making, or planning to make, an A-frame like that?
Incidentally, the cassette wouldn't have to be part of a shower set-up. I can count on the fingers of two hands the number of times I've used a shower in my trailer in 30 years of camping. It's too easy to use the campground shower.

It could be done if you want to give away some living space. I would rather have the extra space and put up with using campground restrooms during the day and using a portable potty at night.

I place the portable unit at night in front of the door since there is already a semi-enclosed and mostly unused area available once settled in for the night.

Vic, I'm doing the same thing you're doing, but would be willing to give up a little bit of storage space for a casette pot.

Look at the trailmanor.com 1724 which has everything you want. It is 17 feet closed and 24 feet open, no canvas, all hard sides.

Yes, a couple of folks have mentioned the Trail Manor, and that would work. Ironically, we had one about 10 or 15 years ago. We could never get rid of an odor from that "recirculating toilet." It was pricy then and even more so now, but it is a possibility. Might be time to try it again.

ID:	86980Hi, This is my first post to this forum,I have a 2012 rockwood a128s,This is my solution for adding extra storage space and also a place I can store the potty without having to assemble it every time from underneath the seat. At night we pull the potty from its location, then lower the table which gives us more room.

As for the Cassette Toilet Flagstaff/Rockwood has just introduce to new models with that mode. Saw the Rockwood at the Frog Rally it is an A213. The Flagstaff is a T21TBHW. Seriously considering one or the other. 2 feet longer than my T12DDT but damn that cassette toilet with the twin bed setup looks great. Did I say I was seriously considering

We have a 2015 Flagstaff T12TST A frame. One thing we really wanted was a built in potty, more or less for night time needs. As with all campers, there are give and takes to meet your priority needs. We decided that making the dinette into a bed each eve, was not a big deal to have our ready to go potty. Actually we gained a lot of floor space ,storage cabinets, and counter space with this floor model. Our potty is a cassette. Just open a door on the side of the trailer and pull out the black water tank to easily dump. We usually get three nights of usage before dump time. Again for us, the minimum effort to change the dinette to a bed and back again, is worth it to have our potty. 2 season now of using this camper and we are very happy with the set up. Happy camping

Well, thanks for all the advice on this thread! We have made a decision. This afternoon, we will pick up our new Rockwood A213HW. This new floor plan meets all of our needs, including the cassette potty, two separate bunks that can be made into a king bed, and it preserves a stand-up dinette. There's even a little swing-up shelf adjacent to the stove that increases counter space. It's exactly what we were looking for. We can't wait to load it up and take off! For those of you into the Flagstaff clone, I think the model number is T21BHW.

Watch out for the swing shelf. The one they had on display at the FROG International, didn't even last a day. I love the Floor plan also. Seriously considering the Flagstaff version. The Flagstaff model is actually T21TBHW, or so I have been told. Just waiting to what the MSRP will be and the end of the season. Did I say seriously considering.
