it's home!
PDI on the A122s went well, hooked it up and drove home 30+ miles in 30mph side winds on snow blown highways. Handled like a charm, though I did drive extremely cautiously. Passed a full size pick up truck in the ditch on it's side.
A block from home I lost the trailer lights, stopped and checked the pigtail, not the problem. Got it backed into the driveway, uncoupled and raised up so roof slopes to the back.
Will trouble shoot when it's not dark cold and windy.

The lights are most likely something simple to fix, enjoy the new camper!

Check fuses on tv.
The chemicals they put on the roads today are highly conductive.

Never seen calcium chloride or salt increase conductivity. Maybe water, but not the chemicals.

What does calcium Chloride and salt melt to make a liquid?
Most everything here is sprayed down in liquid form anymore.

Op, I had a short once due to the conductive nature of the chemicals being sprayed down and melting snow and ice on the highway.
I had a blown marker light fuse and a blown brake light fuse.
Pulled over and cleaned the connections with bottled water and put a bag over the connection and replaced fuses then all was well.

Nope, it increases conductivity of WATER, not electrical connections. "Chloride ions increase the conductivity of water and accelerate corrosion."

The A122S really tows nicely. It is that long space from the hitch to the wheels that keeps it behind you, where it should be. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy using the camper once it warms up in your area.

Congrats on the new camper. We got ours a couple days before Christmas. Did a little driveway camping to see how it/we did in the cold. Absolutely love the camper. It was the right size and choice for us. We are looking forward to our first trip out in a couple weeks. Come on warmer weather.... I hope spring finds you folks soon too.

Enjoy the new camper! We brought ours home in December just in time to get it snowed in at the property. But our rash of sun here lately has melted nearly all of it.

Good choice on the A122S. Love mine, tows good behind my 14 Tacoma. Now you can spend the next month or 2, depending on where you’re from, getting it ready for use.

It's still too cold to trouble shoot the wiring issue but briefly opened it up and put bounce scented dryer sheets all over the place so mice hopefully don't get in. I suppose it's normal for the lift arms on the roof to be a bit stubborn in wanting to close when it's so cold?
