It's summer!!!

We too are getting ready for our first big trip in our 128s. We leave next weekend for a 3 week adventure to Moab, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, Goblin Valley, Kodachrome SP, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. Some stops will have hookups and others will be dry camping and maybe even a few nights boon docking while we make our way to Moab. Gotta have a balance! We are spending this week packing and making sure we are ready for the trip. Any suggestions for a couple of newbies on what to make sure we do and have? How about your favorite hikes and must sees? We are so excited for this trip!

Safe travels to those of you headed out on your summer adventures this week!

We are jealous
We won't start our trips until middle of July, the trip will be a short one to see how our new dog handles the drive and see how he likes camping. Our older dog gets car sick She gets dramamine for every car trip. She loves camping ,
We are hoping to take both dogs with us in August when we start our month long trip.

Have fun and enjoy your trips.

Oooh, nice! Sounds like a fantastic trip.
Here's a link to some interesting reading:

Hummm, maybe you should add a week onto your trip.

Be sure your tow vehicle is in tip top shape for the heat, mountain and desert towing. Check the air in all tires (including the spare on TV and camper). Tire air pressure is listed on your automobile and a plaque on the camper. The psi listed on the tire is the maximum, so don't over inflate!

Also, take along at least a couple of extra jugs full of fresh drinking water.

Thanks for the reading Deb! Another week would be nice, wouldn't it? I suppose we need to return to work to pay for the next big adventure. ;-) We had originally included the grand canyon, but decided to save it for another day.

We will definitely post pix along the way!
