Cool Leaking Port-a-Potty

Hello,
Our port-a-potty that came with our trailer is leaking....yuck!
It is leaking out of the drain cap.
Does this take a gasket on the drain cap?
Thanks.

Throw it away. Not worth trying to fix.

The plastic cap could be cracked,

or the plastic in the nearby area could be cracked.

Or, the cap gasket could be damaged, and maybe a replacement gasket
might save the day, to another day.

Or, could be time for a complete potti replacement.

If we're anything else, other than doo-doo, I'd say try to fix. But why risk a nasty leak somewhere where it will contaminate a living space.

Ours is leaking as well from the cassette top seal. I clean it in the mornings after dumping. We only use it for #1. Will have to get the book out or stop by a dealer in Florida when we get there.

Well after trying to fix it, it just doesn't hold liquid after a certain level.
So ideas on replacement port-a-potty that fit in the cabinet under the bed?

On my trailer, the storage compartment under the bed, next to the door has an opening 15"W X 13.75"H. You will want to measure yours.

I purchased from Amazon a Thetford Porta Potti 320P. It just fits through the opening. Thetford is a quality brand and replacement parts are available.

Thanks for your comment about the Thetford Porta Potti 320P. I did some research of my own and just purchased the 320P.
So thanks for the info on porta potties everyone.

Update,After looking a way more porta potties than I thought one would have to look at I took Alben advice and I ordered the Thetford Porta Potti 320P and it came yesterday. It seems easy enough to work and hopefully no leaking on our next trip. So thanks for the suggestion it was the one that a lot of folks on line recommended.
I'm happy.
