Made the deposit on a Rockwood A213HW

I made the deposit on a Rockwood A213HW today. I lost my wife to cancer last September. And I knew my wife would want me to continue camping. We had camped for years and we enjoyed it so much. I downsized from a Palomini 180FB. Any advice on the A213HW and aframe camping would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the new purchase, you will love aframe camping. I have gone camping a few times by myself when my son wasn't available and its so easy and quick to setup by myself. Have a great time and some wonderful new memories.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Congratulations on your A213HW. We love ours. You've come to a great place for advise. When we got ours I read the A-Frame forum clear through just to get an idea of what others were doing. Idea should be plural, there's lots.

Enjoy.

Great unit for travel and camping. I have camped about 200 nights in the past 3 years. It tows well and has lots of room for a single person.

I use a Honda EU300is generator to reliably power the A/C system. It is pricey, but over the last 12 years it has never failed me. Enough gas capacity to run for 12 hours without an external tank. Fits well on the front.

Welcome to the world of A frames. I too purchased an Aframe after my husband died. We used to own a popup, and it was a lot of work, especially for me after he got sick and couldn't help set up, etc. The Aframe is much easier for me, as I am usually alone. It sets up pretty much like a popup, with the leveling, etc. Very easy! The only thing I've dealt with is "tweaking" the storage space ... using a 3 drawer plastic cabinet for additional storage, as well as hanging baskets, etc. The other issue is the a/c blowing cold air while you sleep -- freezes me out sometimes! I've learned to tuck a blanket under the bed and let it hang in front of the a/c, thus diverting the vents. Absolutely love my Aframe ! Getting out and enjoying life, meeting people, etc. brings healing. All the best to you. Give yourself lots of time to recover and heal.

Brought my A213HW home today. Thought I'd ask if anyone knows what length cover I would need.
