I would think you could find what you need at someplace like Lowes or Home Depot. That's where I got the 90 degree elbow I use on my drain.

Nice to see you are finally having nice warm days in FL. The rain was kind of a bummer for you, but so much better than what's been happening in your home state and east coast.

We had highs of 28 on Saturday with at wicked wind. It's supposed to get up to 50 tomorrow with thunder storms then temps plummet again on Thursday and snow. Talk about a roller coaster ride, Sheesh!

We're enjoying your photos.
I'm curious, are you traveling over to the coast side now? Some of the interior Florida state highways are slow going and more similar to county roads.

The interior of Florida is neat too! I'm glad you have discovered it.

IF you have time (and enjoy this sort of thing) there is a terrific place to visit in Winter Park (north of Orlando off I-4). It is called the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum.

Louis Comfort Tiffany, the Morse Museum, Orlando, Florida

The museum is filled with Tiffany Glass, gorgeous pottery, wonderful art and more. Super cheap $6 admission, the last time I visited it in 2011. NO photos allowed inside, though. Outside of the door of the Gift Shop, right across the street, there is a Panera Bread restaurant.

fyi:

If you are thinking about going to Daytona, do it soon and don't plan to stay long. Bike Week (in Daytona) is scheduled for March 8 through 17. During Bike Week, the area will be over crowded with rowdy folks, campgrounds filled to capacity and prices gone up on everything as well.

If it were me, I'd steer clear of Daytona until it's well over. But then, that's just the way the DH and I roll.

visiting with your niece!

Deb
ps: I hope you don't mind me adding my 2cents. I've vacationed in Florida several different years and my suggestions of stuff to do are just that, suggestions. It's really nice that you are able to explore Florida and enjoy your new Aframe.

Daytona 500 is tomorrow - STAY AWAY. Too many drunks and trying to race like the big boys going on. Mt Dora really is a cool town. Sounds like you are getting most of the good sights in and camped. I live in Palm Coast, 30 mi N of Daytona. Lots of state parks to try while you are here. I have managed to hit what I thought were a bunch, until I tallied them up using the list of FL ST Parks - not so many done, LOTS more to do. Enjoy tghe rest of "winter" and hopefully you do have to get back to snow (ugly, four letter word).

I been wondering about lotsip too, especially with the inclement weather in New England area the last few weeks.

Fingers crossed he's home safe.

Hey guys, sorry, been busy at home. so much to do after a long trip....been home for a week......BUT, i absolutely loved Myrtle Beach, stayed at Ocean Lakes Family Campground, right on the beach, lots to do there !!!

The trip was a blast, the A122 camper was perfect for what I was doing, easy to tow with my Tacoma, quick to set up, etc. Was a learning experience in many ways....I'll know where i want to spend more time next year, where I won't spend as much time....what to pack (I totally brought too much stuff). I will definitely go back to the panhandle, and Myrtle Beach, and certainly some time in the Mt. Dora area so i can see my niece and fish with my friends. Might take the camper to Maine in May when the snow melts up north

oh, here's a few Myrtle Beach pics.

Neat ...

Well im pulling the Aframe out of the garage in a couple of weeks and we too are headed to Myrtle beach. We will be there starting April 20th to May 2nd to catch some rays .. do some pier fishing and basically just hang out and catch the sites. We will be staying at Myrtle Beach State Park.
Any suggestions from you on how to get there that makes things easier?
My tentative plans are to push from Ottawa Ontario, then catch the I81 .. then cross over to the I95 S just below Shenanddoah National park. We would like to avoid large cities ... and am thinking this could be the best way to go ...
