No doubt Don. Maybe we will meet up on the road some day!

Yukon! How great to read your thread! I love your gift for humour and the well-turned phrase. Our experiences on the Dempster are scarily similar (I mean the mangled micro affair, the fridge door mystery and the shaken substance syndrome. The thing with the stove knobs has just started happening to us. There must be a special A-frame Imp in Hell, and it's having a ball).

There's not a redundant bit in your blogs, keep it up and chalk Courty and me in as your latest new fans! Courty, BTW, says she LOVED the Dempster, so nyeh! (tongue out at me), and that you should go all the way to Inuvik next time; you'll love it even more.

I confess. I peed here.
So it's my territory now!
Nearly fell off my chair laughing. Shades of Farley Mowat and his book about living in wolf territory.

Well thank you hamguy, that's very kind of you.
I have the book you mention (Never cry wolf) and it is a delightful read.

Even before I picked up the trailer, I was giving some very serious thought to simply removing the microwave and framing the hole in as extra storage.
I may well do that yet.
