Recommendations for sealing light and bugs from top peaks of aframe?

Hello,

Have added weatherstripping and sealed where appropriate. Still having hard time preventing light from coming in at the peaks on either side of the aframe. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

Thank you,

David

That seems like an issue to me, I have not experienced such a thing. It might help to post your year/model.

Wow, That shouldn't be. At the least there's a leveling issue, at the most there's a frame issue.

Are you sure the unit is level before raising the roof/sides?

I had an Aliner a few years ago. I had the same problem and what I did was to use a truck bed cargo rod across the top. I had the kind where you squeeze a grip to tighten it.

It also doubled as a clothes hanger for light clothing.

Looks to be more out of alignment

than it should be. I'd suggest to check the long hinges that attach the
roof panels to the camper. Maybe they are cracked or broken somewhat.

For small gaps, store plastic bags of the thin cheap type can be stuffed in.

Good luck!

This us a good suggestion (RE the hinges). On our unit the screws on the piano hinge loosened on the door side. I replaced them with larger ones.
