Refrigerator and gas system not working

I have a 2015 Rockwood A122s that keeps having an issues with two things.

The refrigerator works the night before I go camping while hooked to shore power, but doesn’t appear to continue working at the campsite when hooked to shore power in the campground - second outing now where on day two the refrigerator is room temperature the second day.

I loaded it only with cold food, and really never opened the door but a few quick times.

Am I missing something?

Secondly the gas system just doesn’t deliver gas to the water heater, range, or BBQ. I thought I might be out of gas do I ran into town and changed the bottle for fresh ones. No dice. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

No idea about the fridge, but have you checked to see whether gas is making it out of the regulator? I had to replace mine recently but for pretty much the opposite reason!

That was my guess on the gas line. Should be an easy fix if I can find a place that will work on it. In NW Arkansas nobody seems to want to work on it.

Hot Springs where I bought it is 4 hours away.

You do know that you can use an independent RV shops or mobile RV tech, rignt?
You just have to get pre-approval from FR and be willing to be reimbursed.

If the gas issue is just the regulator (may be able to check just by disconnecting the output and seeing if you get a hiss), it's plug and play, about $50.

Don’t know if there is a mobile RVC tech in the area, but that might be an option. Thank you.

^^X2^^

When asking a question about a specific appliance, it is ALWAYS good to post the make/model of that appliance.

Forest River uses many different brands/models of refrigerators/water heaters/stoves/ovens across their many divisions and even within same divisions.

How are you controlling the refrigerator?
You mentioned you plug it in the night before and it gets cold then it doesn't cool at the campsite.

Did you turn the refrigerator off when leaving out on your trip and then back on at the campsite?

Are you relying on the Auto feature?
If so is your propane on so when you unplug to leave it can light on LP?
If you didn't have the propane on has the refrigerator gone into lock-out?

These may/may not apply to you depending on the refrigerator make/model.

Many A-frame trailers have 3 way refrigerators the can be run on 12v during travel. Is this an option on YOUR refrigerator?

Have you purged your gas lines?
When first opening the gas bottle valve (and you must open slowly to keep the internal excess flow device from actuating) you must let the lines purge. This is often accomplished by opening a stove burner valve and lighting. Sometimes it can take a minute or so before the air purges out and LP gas begins to flow.

We are all just guessing without some specific information.
