Replacing concertone radio

My factory stereo/cd player died on last trip and I will be replacing with a car radio/cd player. I am wondering how best to mount new radio in existing space. Any suggestions from those that have replaced their factory Concertone with a standard size car radio/cd player?

On my first camper, the first thing I did was get rid of the Concertone junk.........it had a really odd ball size hole vs. a DIN 2 size opening. I just bought a blank 8x10 mahogany award plaque and put the correct size opening in that and then adhered it over the opening......then install the radio of choice. There a lot of car receivers now that have wireless capability to allow you to stream off your phone to your stereo.
