Roof Fan Vent Cover ?

Has anybody found a solution to the fan vent cover on the forward roof panel from coming loose, the small latch vibrates loose when driving and I can see the cover lifting up. I have seen a few post about people losing the cover on the highway, I`m trying to prevent this from happening.

Thanks for any suggestions or links to a solution.

I will bet that some sticky velcro tape might help this situation... remove the velcro latch when setting up and latch again when leaving.

I haven't had a problem with mine as the locking device is working fine on mine. You could put some "D" rings on each side of the vent and bunji cord it down I've seen that done.

Mine broke on day 1 of my 16 day, 3500 mile road trip. I have been putting a tie down across it to keep it down. Going to try and come up with a better solution when I get home

Surprisingly,

many things can, and will go wrong with the vent cover.

This "over cover" keeps them in check.

Available from amazon for less than $25.

I installed it, and it works great.
