Question Switch for Outside Stereo Speaker

Has anyone added a switch to turn off the outside speaker? I find if the inside two speakers are balanced end to end, the outside speaker is too loud. I would like to turn it off, as I'm not likely to use if very often. I still want the option to use it. I think the outside speaker is connected to the one inside, under the bed--correct?

On most stereos you can choose between A or B or both A&B on for speakers. One would be inside one would be outside.

Mine has A - B - C on the Radio/DVD player: "A" for living area, "B" for bedroom and "C" are the outside speakers. Can activate them in any combination.

My A122S is controlled with the balance. The Fader controls the mix inside while the balance controls the mix between in and out. I move the balance all the way inside whenever I'm finished with outdoor music.

Our new Wildcat MAXX has 3 buttons 1/3rd the way down the face plate. Each bottom turns on or off each of the 3 sets of sparkers. When you push each button, the readout on the radio/DVD players shows which speakers you turned on/off.

Yup...on my radio, use the balance feature to put all the sound inside the trailer.

The radio/stereo is a Kenwood model KDC-152 and being a car stereo it's designed to have speakers in pairs, not an odd number such as three. For example--speaker #1-front dinette bench, #2-below bed, #3-outside.

Using the Balance function as follows:
Balance adjusted, L-15.....#2 speaker
" " R-15.....#3 "
" " 0 .....#1, #2 & #3 speakers

Using the Fader function as follows:
Fader adjusted, Front-15....#2 & #3 speakers
" " , Rear-15.....#1 speaker
" " , 0 ......#1-#2-#3 "

Nohow can I figure out to balance speakers #1 and #2, which are inside, and the outside #3 off. If I have an off switch for outside speaker #3, the inside ones could be balanced in the stereo mode.
Is my old mind missing something here or am I on the right track.

You may be able to remove radio and switch the #1 & #3 speaker wires so you could fade to front for #1 & #2 and fade to rear for #3.
I have not removed a newer RV stereo so am not positive on that.

On a car stereo, balance is between left and right, and fade is between front and rear speakers. It sounds like your RV is wired with one (left or right) channel inside & the other channel outside, which leaves you listening to only the L or R channel.

If that is so, you need to switch the speaker wires around on the back of the radio, so that inside is connected as front L&R, and outside is connected as rear L&R. That way you will hear both channels, and inside/outside will be controlled by "fade".
