Three Burner Glass Cover Replacement

We had an incident that shattered our glass cover on the stove. We have a 2016 TB19QBHW...we were shattered to find out today to replace it is $400.00. I don't guess they make replacement parts for the glass only. Click image for larger version

$400 is ridiculous. If your handy consider building one of these to cover your stove. Cheaper and will give your more counter space when not using the stove. Hard to see in the pic but there's rubber feet on the corners to prevent it from sliding around.

I think the manufactures use glass and metal for a reason.

Why never had them till a few years ago and really do not need them. Actually the stove with the worthless oven could be eliminated. Only thing good for heat Coffey or water. Later RJD

I didn't turn the knob all the way off and closed the top. Glass went EVERYWHERE. Thank heavens I was still inside so I used the fire extinguisher because it was burning close to the curtains. The extinguishers blue powder was a mess but saved the camper. Hard to believe the top is that expensive. We aren't replacing an oven..we only have the 3 burner in our model.

What about calling the stove manufacturer and asking them to sell you a top?

Here is a glass top but not sure it's your stove make?

On my last camper we installed the metal folding cover for the stove. It should be the same size for a 3 burner stove. Link for the one Amazon has is https://www.amazon.com/Camco-43554-U...tove+top+cover , Camping world also has them. As for usless oven, not everyone has no use for them. I made sure my new camper did, I really missed it in my last one.

Have you tried Camping World? They have several stove covers. Expensive, but no where near $400.

There"s an article in the Sept Trailer Life about adding the glass cover to your existing stove. The black glass cover sells for $87 model number 50200. Phone number in article was 800 546 8759 for Atwood Mobile Products.

Edit - looks like a different model stove, sorry!

Freedom Express Ultralites have begun including a cutting board nearly exactly like that to cover the stove tops, instead of a metal or glass cover. Good idea!

Im finding that cosmetic garbage could be an issue.
Find a Dominic steel unit for over for the burners....and itshould not be an issue..they are all the same.

they have stove covers at camping world - on sale for labor day. $50 for a black universal stove top cover. Cincia

"The Camco Rv Black Universal Fit Stove Top Cover is widely recommended and is a popular choice for lots of people. Camco have added some nice touches and this means great value. Flip up one side to use two burners or fold and store it away compactly when you need all four burners.
Features:
Stores compactly
Made of 20 gauge steel
Protect and hide burners
Adds counter space in the RV
Acts as a splash guard between burners and wall when folded back
