Just answering the question that was asked of me about the incompatibility of boat trailers and WDHs. I personally never want to own a boat big enough that I need a WDH on the trailer. I found even on my 25ft sailboat (1979-1992) that 250lbs tongue weight was more than enough to stop sway while towing a 4500+lb sailboat. I also learned the hard way when I was setting the trailer up that 100lbs tongue weight wasn't enough. The boat trailer I had allowed me to slide the axles back and forth along the frame to adjust tongue weight. And yes it had surge brakes (drum).
