Tough weekend

So last weekend, my husband twisted two stabilizer jacks off our our a-frame and I pushed the rear bumper into a "U" shape! After a laugh and a high five, we have replaced the jacks. Can we attempt to pull out the bumper or should we leave well enough alone?

Just a thought maybe you should service the other 2 stabilizer jacks but get a professional to do the bumper juts in case you bent one of the supports coming off of the frame

Sorry to herd of your troubles... but always remember it could be worse

We were sitting in traffic waiting for a light & hear a boom & screech look up to see an out of control pick up & travel trailer..... It looks like they just could not wait for traffic & were going up the turning lane (fast) when a mini van also started to pull into the turn lane............ took the front off the mini van probably totaled their truck the awning arms struck several other cars..... & damage to the side of the camper & they were only about 1/4 mile from their campground, in Myrtle Beach. One vacation ruined before it started. At least no one was seriously injured. & one unhappy insurance company.

We came too close to also being hit...........

Bumpers on trailers are more cosmetic, than for safety.
They are flimsy, especially on popups.
So I don't see any reason not to pull it out, unless as was said, there was frame damage.

I just the bumpers went all the way across and where out an inch further than the spare tire. Would have saved me some damage.

The bumper is a disposable item. If the use isn't too bad then I would try to repair. If that is not cosmetically satisfactory then replace it.
