i pull at about 17 or 18 ... verified by math. the truck gets much better mpg when just sitting at 2000 rpm .. anything higher and it does start to get noticable.
to WFD .. we are all towing 3500 lb hardside Aframes ... this is why we enjoy our gas mileage ... no wind sheer, or headwind problems with these ..

We use a '98 Ranger 2WD Supercab pulling a 2014 A122 and it took about a 5-6MPG hit (dropping from 24 to around 18 or so). I don't go over 65mph (except on long downhills) and I don't push it overly hard on the uphills, if I creep down to 55 on steep hills I just do.

2006 Chevy Avalanche 5.3l towing a 2009 30wrls v lite 10 mpg on avg up and down hills and through small towns on a road you couldn't get above 55mph. Just got the trailer in the fall will see later how it does on interstate since I have only towed it once. This was as good as our old trailer that was 5 ft and 2000 lbs lighter so I'm happy.

The computer tells me I get between 8.5-10 mpg, depending on wind, hills, etc. I try to run right at 65mph. My set up is in my sig too.

Have not bothered to compute it on my own, because it's not going to change whatever I'm actually getting for mileage

I have a 4 cylinder Subaru Outback (all wheel drive) pulling an A124 (2000 pounds). I get 18 at 70 MPH, 22 at 60 MPH, and 26 at 50 MPH on flat, Florida roads.

I get between 11-13 towing a MicroLite 21 FBRS that weighed around 4000 lbs (loaded) at my last trip to the CAT scale. Tow vehicle is a 2013 Chevy Silverado extended cab 4X4 with 5.3L. In and around mileage without the TT hovers around 17.

My mpg is directly related to how much I use cruise control. Our last trip consisted of about 90% interstate travel on cruise, averaged 11.7. On prior trips with more non-interstate driving we get 9 to 10 mpg. Wind is also a factor, very little wind last trip. Rig details are below.

I can get 19-20 mpg @ 60-65 mph empty on the hwy. City driving 15+ depending on traffic. Towing 9k# 5th wheel she will average 9-10 mpg doing the math @ 60-65 mph. Anything more than 65 she really gets thirsty. Best I ever got towing was on a 3500 mile 34 day round trip to the Colorado Rockies and back to Texas. 11.3 MPG 60-65 MPH in 2012 pulling a 2008 Cougar 5r 10300# GVW scaled @ 9850# for the trip. We are retired and don't get in a hurry.

Well, this is all so dependent on TV, trailer, speeds, terrain, etc. We got 17 mpg with an F150 6 cylinder pulling a pop-up at 70 mph. We get 11 with our Ecoboost F150 pulling a 5,500 pound RV trailer at 60 mph. Mileage is going to be all over the place depending . . . .
